Pink color stones are so attractive, and this odd shape stone is made more beautiful because a carver turned it into an object of art. Rhodochrosite belongs to the calcite group and is considered a rare stone. In this case, the carving in the form of a carp lying on a bed of lotus flowers brought out the white inclusions within the stone which made it more attractive. The stone has a free form flattened shape and has a matching stopper.
