The bottle has an unusual elongated six sided form presented in multi-facetted diamond shaped planes. It tapers to a hexagonal flat base, and its short neck has a flat top. The white glass is well polished and each facet is well defined. The uncommon shape is rare and perhaps it is due to the time consuming manufacture did not lend itself to lucrative ventures. It is fitted with a ruby color glass cap encased in brass, a cork stopper and a brass spoon. The white glass is an imitation of nephrite, a rare white jade named Hetian Jade found in the alluvial deposits along the Yurungkax River in Khotan, Xinjiang Province in Northwest China.
